As our King, Richard Coeur de Lion VIII returns from the Crusades to claim his crown, he is royally garbed in
a mantle of ermine, purple velvet and priceless jewels. A blazing replica of His Majesty’s crown is detailed
on the mantle in gold lame’, authentic stones and fur. The crown is outlined in pearls and aurora borealis rays
shoot from this symbol of Royalty. A floral motif in rhinestones and aurora stones add brilliance to the crown.
The wide ermine of his collar extends down the front of his mantle in two panels and culminates in a deep border.
Aurora stones accent each ermine tail. Ermine also enhances the wide cuffs and the fur is outlined with gold sequin
bands studded with enormous stones of topaz, aquamarine and garnets mounted above the rhinestone settings. A diamond
medallion closes the solidly paved aurora borealis mandarin collar.
As beautiful and serene as any queen who ever graced the courts of medieval Europe, Queen Berengaria XIII
wears a magnificent candlelight satin gown and an ermine-bordered royal purple velvet mantle. Her dress is elaborately
detailed with a rhinestone tipped silvered filigree collar rising in the Elizabethan manner. A sweetheart neckline and
puffed sleeves sparkle with diamonds and aurora borealis. The hooped skirt features a front panel emphasized by satin
shirring. Full length gloves match her dress. The mantle, deeply edged in white ermine, expands to a width of about
five yards. Rays of rhinestone brilliance as well as gold braid shoot the length of the mantle. Diamond pendant earrings
compliment the crown, which is a replica of the crown worn by Queen Elizabeth II when she opened her first Parliament
in 1952. Like the original heirloom it features the Cross, Rose, Thistle, and Shamrock emblems in diamonds and pearls.
