The Order of the Troubadours participates in two Mardi Gras parades in Lafayette Louisiana. The Friday Night Kick-off Parade is a multi-krewe parade with around 20 floats and is held the Friday before Fat Tuesday. The Children's Parade is a day parade held the Saturday before Mardi Gras.
The parade schedule for 2011 is as follows:

Friday Night Kick-off Parade
With the participation of six local krewes, the Friday Night Kick-off Parade is a great way to start the Mardi Gras weekend. The Krewe of
Troubadours runs three floats in the parade with over 50 adult riders. If you would like to ride, contact
us for more information.
Children's Parade
The Children's Parade is a daytime parade with kids between the ages of six and thirteen riding on the floats. The Krewe of
Troubadours runs one or two floats in this parade. If you have a child who would like to ride, contact
us for more information.
